Although Disney sets the record for most career Oscar wins, his awards were not in the most prestigious categories or were honorary. Disney’s Oscars included Best Animated Short, Best Documentary, and even a custom-made Oscar statuette to recognize artistic achievement for the creation of the first animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which featured dwarfs based on the award. Walt Disney also holds the Oscar record for most consecutive nominations, at 22 consecutive years from 1941 to 1962.
