A graduate of an aeronautical engineering program is expected to have basic knowledge in various areas of aeronautical engineering. He may, however, pursue a master’s or doctoral degree in a specific field of study. Examples of these specializations are instrumentation and communication, structural design, and navigation and control systems. Some graduates may also work on a specific product project, such as passenger planes, rockets, helicopters or military aircraft.
