[ad_1]

Married couples have only four minutes of meaningful conversation per day on average, according to a survey of over 1,000 people. The amount of time spent talking decreases with years of marriage, except for couples with young children.

According to a survey of over 1,000 people, married people don’t have much to say to each other. The survey found that on average, married couples share just four minutes of meaningful conversation a day.

Another study conducted in Great Britain found that the amount of time married couples talk to each other decreases as the years go by. Couples married 20 years spent about 21 minutes conversing over a 60-minute dinner, while newlyweds within their first year of marriage converse for about 40 minutes of those 60 minutes. The only exception is married couples with young children, who talk for about 10 minutes during a 60-minute dinner.
