Non-surgical personnel may require tools such as computers, stationery and other important office equipment.

During the employee selection process, the role of human resource management in healthcare is to ensure that people with the best skills are matched to the identified jobs available. This is facilitated by the efforts of HR managers to advertise positions, conduct interviews and make suitable selections. Again, selection will be determined by available financial resources. If the budget is tight, healthcare management will need to manage resources by hiring the best employees within their budget.
