The Phoenix Zoo has 1,200 birds, animals and reptiles. The zoo is a great place to take children in Phoenix as the Children’s Zoo includes a walking trail with views of animals such as a raccoon, hedgehog, and ocelot. The Forest of Uco exhibit has a bamboo rainforest that you can walk through. There are also farming demonstrations for children and a petting zoo.
