To send an anonymous email attachment, use a free online service to hide the IP address. Access a secure email website, attach the file, and enter a standard email address in the ‘To’ box. Add a subject and body text to provide context.

Sending an anonymous email attachment allows you to transmit a message in complete privacy, by hiding the Internet Protocol (IP) address from which the message came. Often, these services work by transmitting messages through a random path across the network, obscuring their original sources. To send an anonymous email attachment, you’ll need to use a free online service.

Open your web browser and access the secure email website page of your choice; an internet search should reveal several options for such sites if you don’t have one in mind. Once you log into the site, you’ll typically be presented with a screen that looks a lot like a standard email interface, containing rows of options for message recipient, message subject, message body, and a ” Browse” next to an attachment box. Click the “Browse” button next to the “Attachments” row. A window will open, providing you with a list of active directories and files stored on your computer.

Once the directory window opens, navigate to the specific drive and folder containing the attachment you want to send. First, click on the drive letter containing the file you want to attach, then select the directory where the file is stored. Once there, click on the file you want to attach and press the “OK” button on the interface. This will attach the selected file to the email as an attachment. To complete sending your anonymous email attachment, simply enter a standard email address in the ‘To’ box. List it as you normally would, such as “[email protected]”.

Next, you’ll have the option to add a subject and body text to your message. If you’re sending the anonymous email attachment to someone you know, it might be helpful to include it in the subject line, to prevent the recipient from thinking the message is spam and deleting it without reading. In many cases, if you leave the subject line blank or enter something generic, the recipient may delete it without reading it, mistakenly believing it to be spam. Also, it may be important to add some text in the body of the message to provide the context of the email; something like “Hey, here’s the attachment you wanted” will work in most circumstances.
