Epoxy can be applied by hand or using specialist distributors for larger projects. Hand dispensers are affordable, while pneumatic dispensers and vending machines are more expensive and found in industrial settings.

When a worker needs to use an epoxy to complete a project, there are many ways they can apply it to the work piece. If the worker is only working on a small project, the container that the epoxy comes in is likely to work quite well. However, to apply epoxy to many workpieces over the course of a day, it may be best to use specialist distributors. These allow the worker to work faster and more efficiently.

Sometimes epoxy can be applied by hand. It can be poured out of its container and spread over the workpiece with a brush or similar tool. This is generally done by people working on projects at home. For large-scale uses, a specialist epoxy resin distributor can be very effective.

The simplest form of epoxy dispenser is the hand dispenser. These are handheld devices shaped like a gun. A worker will insert the epoxy tubes into the top of the hand dispenser. He or she will then place the tip of the dispenser against the work piece and pull the trigger. Squeezing the trigger mixes the two ingredients of the epoxy and forces it out of the dispenser tip and onto the work piece.

In addition to the manual form of epoxy resin dispensers, there are different types of automatic versions of epoxy resin dispensers. The most common of these are similar to hand dispensers and called pneumatic dispensers. They do not require hand strength to dispense the epoxy. Most often this type of dispenser uses electrical energy to apply epoxy to a workpiece.

There is an even more advanced form of epoxy vending machine currently on the market. This type has the most similar shape to a milling machine, characterized by a head that can be rotated in multiple angles positioned above a work surface. The work surface can be movable depending on the design. An epoxy resin dispenser like this one is capable of drawing specific shapes with the epoxy and is capable of depositing the epoxy with remarkable precision. These dispensers can be automated to varying degrees depending on the model in use.

The price range of these three types of epoxy dispensers varies slightly. Hand dispensers are affordable and readily available at hardware stores and on the Internet. Pneumatic dispensers and vending machines are each more expensive, with the latter sometimes costing over $1,000 US Dollars (USD). Due to their cost, epoxy resin vending machines are typically found only in industrial settings and more advanced home shops.
