The US government isn’t really expecting a zombie apocalypse, but the Pentagon is still prepared for that unlikely event. It was learned in 2014 that the US Department of Defense has a well-crafted strategy to combat those fearsome imaginary enemies, known as the Zombie Dominance Plan, or CONPLAN 8888-11 in government parlance, which states: “This plan it wasn’t actually meant to be a joke.” Essentially, the process of designing a contingency plan for dealing with zombie attacks has encouraged disaster planners to think outside the box when it comes to creative strategies and tactics.
