Helena, Montana is a vibrant capital city with a thriving arts scene and many indoor and outdoor activities. The Montana Military Museum is located in historic Fort Harrison. Fort Harrison launched the United States-Canada Special Service Force in WWII. St. Helena’s Cathedral is a historic functioning church. It dates back to 1908 when its construction began. The Gothic-style Catholic cathedral was not actually completed until 1924. In 1935, the cathedral was damaged by several earthquakes and was repaired and reinforced in 1938. St. Helena’s Cathedral has undergone several renovations and is on the National Register Historical places.
