A shipping pallet is a wooden platform with a cardboard box attached, used to contain goods during shipment. It can have a lid and be stacked. It is effective in preventing damage to small items during transport and can be used to protect expensive or heavy goods. It can save time and money and can be reused.

A shipping pallet is a product designed to contain goods during shipment. It usually consists of a wooden platform to which a thick cardboard box is attached. In some cases, the top section may be made of wood or heavy foam instead of cardboard. It may also have a lid that sits on top, so one or more of these pallets can be stacked on top of each other.

The bottom of this item often resembles a traditional pallet used to transport and store goods. It is usually made of wood and has holes or slats in the side and front to accommodate the clamps of a forklift. A standard packing pallet is typically four feet (1.22m) wide and four feet (1.22m) long.

The sides of a packing pallet can be 1.07-1.17 in (42 to 46 m) high, to include the platform it sits on. When a lid is added to the top, it can be approximately 48 inches (1.22 m) tall. The ends of the box do not normally extend beyond the base, but in some circumstances they may be about an inch (2.54cm) or so wider on either side.

This type of container is often used when there is a large number of small items that need to be shipped. This is sometimes thought to be an effective way to prevent these goods from being damaged, as they cannot fall over if the load inside a truck suddenly shifts. This could easily happen if a trucker needed to brake hard, for example.

In some cases, expensive or heavy goods may need to be insured more than they normally would with pallet wrapping. Some of these items may include electronics or machinery. These products may be shipped inside a wooden packing pallet for extra protection. A foam container could also be used, as this type can help absorb vibrations and shocks that could otherwise damage sensitive goods.

A packing pallet can save a business time and money compared to using standard shrink-wrapped pallets. It may not be necessary to repack the goods inside one of these cardboard containers before being stored. These crates can often be reused which can reduce the number of pallets you have to purchase. For these reasons, using this product to receive, store, and ship merchandise can be a good decision for a variety of businesses.
