There are many different recipes for iced coffee. Most of them use nothing but iced latte and iced coffee. The combination produces a smooth drink that can be enjoyed with or without the addition of ice cubes. Other recipes call for blending coffee, ice cream, and crushed ice in a blender to achieve a slightly thick, very cold consistency. Most recipes for iced coffee will allow for the addition of any type of flavoring desired.

You can use any type of coffee to create an iced coffee drink. Along with using standard coffee, a small amount of espresso can be combined with other ingredients to create the cold drink. The main requirement for producing flavorful iced coffee is to ensure that the coffee is strong and free from any bitter taste. As long as the coffee itself is appealing, adding other ingredients to achieve the desired texture and taste will make the iced drink perfect for serving in warm weather or as a cold alternative at social events.
