Similar to pop cake, a brownie sundae starts with a chocolate brownie that is then topped with vanilla ice cream. One difference, aside from the fact that the base of the dessert is a brownie on top of the cake, is that the ice cream is sometimes covered in chocolate syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry.
