When beginning a post exercise routine, remember that moisturizers are off-limits. The greasy film left by the lotions does not allow the adequate grip necessary to perform the movements in the post. Any time pole grip is compromised, it can present a serious health and safety issue. Jewelry, including rings, watches, and bracelets, should also be removed before beginning a routine, as it can scratch or damage the post.
